Adirondack Air-to-Ground
Range
10 -11 April 2008
I had the honor to visit the Adirondack Air-to-Ground Range on 10-11 April 2008. The range is run by the 174th Fighter Wing / Det 1 of the New York Air National Guard. It was a great experience with great hosts. New York ANG 174th FW F-16Cs and Maryland ANG 175th Wing A-10s used the range for strafing and bomb practice.
Very special thanks to Tomahawk, Frydad and all of the guys at the facility for their friendliness and hospitality, the F-16, A-10 and UH-60 crews for being accommodating, and Mender and Judge for helping to make the visit possible.
